MaconServ offers hosting primarily for our web design clients; however, if you have a website and need hosting, let us know. Hosting features include sufficient space for most any website (500 megabytes), un-metered bandwidth, and 99.9 percent uptime. Your site can go live in just a few days!

When we create your account, we configure it so you don’t need to worry about technical information. From the start, for maintenance, and for updates, we take care of it for you!

We can setup e-mail options with hosting as well as soon as your domain name is active and available. You can have as many e-mail addresses as you need and the plan includes the most common e-mail features. You will be able to setup your own computer’s software to handle your messages and have the option to check your e-mail online.

If you have website hosting, then you must have a domain name (www.yourwebsitename.com) so that people can get to your site. Although we are not an official “registrar”, we purchase domain names from an ICANN accredited registrar and are able to offer quality service to you. We will work with you to help you find the right domain name for your site and properly configure it to your web space.

Have you already purchased a domain name? Great! We can help you hook it up to your web space. Transferring a domain name may lengthen the time it takes until your site is live. Generally it takes about a week for changes to take effect on node servers worldwide.

If you would like us to setup an account for you to manage yourself, just let us know and we can give you FTP access to the web space. Other features that you would then be interested in are the servers’ support for Active Server Pages, PHP scripting, CGI and Perl, password protected directories, Access and MySQL databases (extra cost for MySQL), and shared Secure Sockets Layer.
